Robotics Wins Awards
Two Owls Robotics teams earned awards during the Love at First Bot VEX V5 Tournament at St. George’s on February 14.
Team 99331M – composed of Ibraheem Awan ’32, Rishabh Bag ’30, Aaron Chiang ’29, and Charlie Irwin ’30 – were finalists in the tournament and won the Excellence Award, which earned them a spot at the Tennessee State Tournament.
Team 99331W – made up of Ben Chambers ’30, Prateek Damera ’31, Aarav Jain ’32, Aahil Raza ’31, and Mohid Salman ’29 – won the Builder Award, which goes to a well-constructed robot that is built with a high attention to detail.
MUS Robotics will host the Final Flight VEX Robotics Tournament on Saturday, February 28. Over 40 teams will compete in the last-chance tournament to close out the robotics season.
