Courses Target Summer Reading
A Summer Reading Mastery course will help you knock out your Summer Reading Assignment and keep your skills fresh. All grades have a mandatory summer assignment – why not sign up so you can complete this important task over the break? Both summer reading lists and math packets are now available in the library's resources HERE.
The first Summer Reading Mastery courses run June 1-18 - and they fill up quickly, so sign up today:
Successfully completing your summer course (and passing the quizzes and tests in the class) will satisfy the summer reading requirement for students enrolled in MUS; these students will be exempt from the Summer Reading tests required of all other students at the beginning of school in the fall.
Summer Reading scores influence first-quarter grades in the following way:
B to A (85-100) = +3 points
C to B (75-84) = +2 points
C- to C (70-74) = -2 points
F to D (0-69) = -6 points
