Casertano Speaks to Faculty and Staff
We are grateful to Mr. Drew Casertano of Strategic School Leadership for meeting with MUS community members to discuss the dynamics of leadership transition.
Considering his retirement next May, Headmaster Pete Sanders invited Casertano to kick off faculty in-service week and the 2026-27 school year. Mr. Hart Roper, headmaster at Oak Hill School in Nashville, has been named our next headmaster, taking over from Sanders next summer. The day was filled with lively conversations about the values that underpin an MUS education and how that baton will be passed. The overriding theme: The tenets of our Community Creed will guide the process because they guide what we do – and what our boys do – every day.
